Cornwall Aero Park

Although its been a few years since I last visited Cornwall Aero Park, could anybody please tell me the situation there regards the “Wreckage” that had been dragged up from the sea bed over the years.
I seem to remember bits and pieces from Heinkel 111s and other aircraft that were on show and have gone “walkies” of late.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Does anybody know what happened to the “Flambards” Replica’s?? i know that the Bristol Mercury ended up at Elvington, what of the rest?? Have a vested interest, helped make them 😀

Seem to remember having to crawl and fight my way over “Hundreds” of kids who thought it was a Spit they were getting to sit in ???????????????????????.

Its been a few years since I was there and even then parts were beginning to get “flakey”.

HI DREM

was at CAP(now known as FLAMBARDS) last week,and the situation is as follows.
the gannet,and a wessex are still there,and the trawled up bits are in the same place as always(on the path to where the aircraft were)from memory there are recovered bits of hudson,heinkel111,sea fury,a jumo engine,merlin engine,turret canopies,a few props,and guns.it all looks a bit sad,and the cornish (salt laden) air is finishing them off slowly.the under cover area is well worth a visit with good examples of local avition history,including the barnes wallis experiments with wild goose,at predannack.
