Yep, it’s happeneing again, only this one is billed as ‘Corsairs over Connecticut’ and will happen 3-5 June 2005 at the Sikorsky Memorial airport near Bridgeport, CT (for info http://www.veteranssalute.org) , 9 Corsairs have signed on so far, putting it two ahead of the Corsair Gathering of 2002 (if all 9 show up)…there will be demos on how all the parts for the Corsair were made, tours of the areas where it was manufactured, flight demos, and all kinds of other stuf…check out the site! Since my grandfather spent a good part of his young adult life working here manufacturing these birds, you can bet I’ll be there!

Would’nt miss it…will make it or will die trying to get there…just cancelled other plans with Andy in Beds for a month later to make it to this (luckily his plans changed too) so I think I can swing this as my ‘vacation’….really looking forward to it, might have a couple of my brothers in tow, too….one just back from Iraq (as of today, as a matter of fact..)

Hi All,
For anyone who is interested in going their will be a rather large group of Wixers that will be at this event let us know what you wouldlike to see and we might be able to get the photos.
