Corsair takes a HIT!

Lest ye all think it’s safe to fly warbirds out there without fear of flak and marauding enemy fighters, don’t get TOO complacent…or those TURKEY BUZZARDS will jump right up and bite you like they did the CAF’s Corsair N9964Z at the Airsho in 2000! I offer the evidence of such a strike…it did a right bit of damage! However, other than the plane developing a slight drift to the left due to increased drag…Aubrey Hair (pilot) said it flew fine.

This proves again that a corsait is a stong plane (as many other WWII planes). But that bird shure proved to be a expensive one! 😮
