The idea of a meet at Cosford has been knocking around for a while now and dhfan has suggested the 13th of March. So, is anyone interested in Cosford on the 13th? A gentle amble around and perhaps a pint and something to eat later? There’s enough at Cosford to keep us occupied for a few hours. Give us all a chance to see the plans for the new building and what is going inside, and keep us arguing for weeks.
The new restoration centre is only open on Friday afternnons and you have to book. I’m prepared to organise that for sometime in late March or early April if anyone fancies that.

Not to mention the weather! Have car, will travel.
Flying is for fun, not travelling 🙂

I know Kev’s a native, so to speak, but I’ll consult the Good Beer Guide.

Ah, a forum meet I don’t have to get up early for.

Nice idea Kev, thanks. But it would shorten the day too much, no runway lighting at London Knettishall International, and anyway it would severely curtail the lunchtime drinkies (Any chance of some real Banks’s Mild?)
So I’ll be there in Mrs Moggy’s trusty diesel. 65 mpg – can’t be beat 🙂

alanl.
This is just a general stroll around the museum. The restoration centre is only open to prebooked visits on a friday afternoon. I’m going to see about one of those tours for April. But they do have to be booked. I’ll start another thread on that some other time.
In the meantime you are welcome to join us on the 13th.

I only suggested the 13th to give us something to start arguing about. If you’re all going to agree, I’m not playing any more. 🙂
(Probably the wrong grin but it’s the only one I know how to do).
The restoration centre sounds good too. Mrs DHfan may be grumpy as despite, in theory, not working Friday afternoons, she’s usually there until after 5pm.
Where did that other grin come from?

Please put me down for a place on the 13th as well.
Cheers,
