As we didn’t have tickets we decided to leave the trafic queue early on and headed for the Tennis club on the other side of the airfield… despite being some distance from the action we rather enjoyed the day and still managed to get some decent shots…

Nice pics, and a good choice – the traffic was solid for five miles northwards on the A41 (not that it worried me too much as I arrived by motorbike) and the lighting was much better from that side anyway.
