Popped across to Cosford on Sunday for an hour as I haven’t been for a while. (Popped in again today as they had three books I needed.) There have been a few changes.
The BAC 1-11 has moved down near the Belfast and the Trident has taken the 1-11’s place on the concrete pan. There was a Javelin there for a while but no sign of it now. The Trident is now open to the public again. A single seat Hunter is now at the museum gate. The Andover and Neptune have moved. The Neptune is now behind the Trident and I couldn’t see the Andover. The Britannia has now moved across the car park and is now on the grass next to the railway line. The Argosy is still near the shooting butts and nothing appears to have been done with it yet. The Vulcan and Victor are the only airframes located in front of the top hangar now and both appear to have had a repaint but I didn’t get very close, my legs were playing up. At the back of the top hangar was the Canberra PR9, Hunter T7 and an absolute gem. A Vultee Valiant…….
A few photo’s to be going on with.

Crackinmg shots Kev
Is the Vultee Valiant pasrt of the “fleet” stored on the far side or a new arrival. Good to see the single seat Hunter is still there.
Must go back soon, the last time I was there it was raining so I couldnt get any external shots.

Don’t rise to it Andrew, the gentleman concerned will soon get bored. There is room enough here for everyone to enjoy their hobby no matter what form it takes.

When I was there back at the beginning of July they were just getting ready to move the Britannia across the grass to the other side of the car park. The Andover and Varsity were over the far side of the airfield away from the museum area. The Argosy was in the same place as you described. The Javelin was in the restoration hangar being worked on. The Vulcan had a repaint last summer and the Victor was surrounded by scaffolding being painted.
