Taken from another site.
“The National Cold War Exhibition at RAFM Cosford has been temporarily closed due to a problem with the lighting in the building.”
More info here: http://ow.ly/2XcQy
Report states the rest of the site and half-term activities are unaffected.

Its not a typo is it? Could it be the Lightning thats got problems. No way would I want to walk under that if the string holding it vertical was a bit suspect.

Adds a bit of spice to the RAF Museum Cosford Destruction Derby.
The Museum JCB enters in the dark and the driver doesn’t get to know what priceless irreplaceable aircraft he’s chopped up until the lights go on….

They are shipping them down to Hendon, it is part of the austerity plan, each Museum gets the use of them for one year, then they move on.

They said at the RAES lecture last night it would be out for about 3-4 weeks, so hopefully open in time for the Conservation Centre week.

I’ve just noticed that the Conservation Centre will be open from Monday 15th to Saturday 20th November.
Thanks dant, I was going to ask about this.
