Cosford cold war hanger aircraft

Spent a great day at cosford last week and I was wondering if the aircraft hung airfix style in the cold war hangar are complete or have they been stripped out to reduce weight?

Hanger or hangar

And it’s HANGAR, although some of the aircraft have become ‘hangers’:D

When I enquired about the Javelin at Cosford I was told it was pretty much an empty shell with some added reinforcement inside to redirect some of the loading to more suitable parts of the structure.

I have asked myself the same question about the aircraft “hanging” in the Airspace and US Air Museums at Duxford.
