There is a thread over on UKAR regarding the moving of the Liberator at Cosford, to Hendon with the Valiant going the other way. Does anybody here have any further info ?

Cosford Liberator
I was at Cosford in February when the Liberator was temporarily outside while they moved the Dakota to the restoration centre. I did post some pictures in another thread but don’t know how to attach the link.
Anyway, it was my understanding from talking to the guys at Cosford that the Liberator was indeed going to Hendon in ‘exchange’ for the Valiant.
cheers

The Valiant is definitely joining the Vulcan and Victor at Cosford for the Cold War exhibition, as for moving the Liberator to Hendon its the first i’ve heard of it, although it would make sense as it will fill the gap left by the Valiant in the bomber command hall. The hangars at Cosford are going to look rather empty with all the cold war aircraft going into the new exhibition hangar

That move would make sense as cosford already has the victor and vulcan so having the valiant would complete the v bomber trio.
