Thought I would share a few pics with you guys from my last trip to LA. Some not the best quality as they were shot through glass.

That’s just the standby altimeter which can usually be found to differ from the other altimeters by up to a few hundred feet.

ooo I like the panel shot.Is that in cruise? I see a slight nose up angle…. in a shallow climb? or just heavy? FL320 ain’t very high for a 747 though so I’d say in climb.

Depends on the SG of the fuel. The most I have seen is 178.0 t.

That’s what I thought. What are the inbound/outbound times for those flights? I saw the A346 at night. Thanks for the info.

I have a few questions for you Skycruiser:
1) Are you guys sending an A346 into LAX as one of the 2 dailies? I thought I saw one parked there back in December.
2) Do you guys typically park on the north or south side of Bradley, and do you also typically land on rwy 24L/R?
3) How long have you been working for CX? My cousin used to work at LAX and CX was one of the airlines his company used to handle, along with BA, PR, JL, KE amongst other. [/B]

I think it is Century City…
Nope, that’s downtown, boys. TransAmerica building in black to the right, convention center just above the 10 Freeway running diagonal up the screen. Tallest building in L.A. is that white one right in the middle, not sure of the name. It seems Skycruiser is in the downwind leg here, prior to making a right turn and landing on 24R. When they land on 25L, they come in from the South.

Ah thats what I thought.
I’m aware you always have a nose up attitude, just seemed a bit more on that pic.
I flew a 744 from LHR to SAEZ (Buenos Aires) in flight sim, loooooong flight. Started out at 320 and eventually finished up at 380, or 400, can’t quite remember LOL!
