A couple more of my dad’s photos. These were taken from a Shell oil tanker
off the coast of Norway. The tankers used to go to and from Kirkenes. I have tried to find out the history of this helicopter and from what little I can find, it was involved in a fatal accident in West Africa. I am not sure on this though. Oddly enough LN-OSE was later used on a MBB B0-105.

Thanks again Wieesso. As I say, I think there were fatalities in the crash as well.

Thanks again Wieesso. As I say, I think there were fatalities in the crash as well. Ironically enough my dad worked at Freetown Airport (Lunghi) for a while but it was before the accident.
