Courtesy Aircraft-P40,Bearcat and more…

I’ve just been having a look at the recently updated listings on the Courtesy Aircraft website, and it makes for interesting viewing to say the least! Perhaps the most surprising of all the new additions is a Mil Mi24D Hind attack helicopter in full airworthy trim, going for a cool $750k. There’s also a Gnat,LiM5/Mig17,Fouga Magister and a gorgeous P40E to name but a few.
Top of the list is Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat N800H,offered at a cool $1.75m. This is ‘Wampus Cat’,formerly operated over here in the UK by TFC at Duxford in the mid 90’s.

Mil-24 for sale

Sorry not OPTEC, but one on lease to USAF and has been flown by the 6th SOS at Hurlburt Field, Floirda. At least 4 have been seen and maintenance on them has been carried out at the Destin Florida airport. Also noted in the past have been AN-2, AN-32, and a couple of MIL-8

Hello All

The Hind looks like one of the OPTEC airframes that are/were operated from (correct me if I am wrong) Biggs AAF in Texas.

They had some Mi-14s as well as Mi-24s, and some An-2s as well, have they all been retired?
