Coventry has remained as the CF maintenance headquarters. As a result there are always major projects being worked upon at the site. The Nimrod and SPT’s Shackleton are present outside too. Airworthy aircraft visit from the NQY site when necessary and the intention is to offer vintage aircraft pleasure flights at CVT as well. The plan is for CVT to have a cafe and small shop all staffed by volunteers. CVT will only be accessible at weekends and entry is to be free.
I am not their official spokesperson but no doubt details will appear on the CAF website in due course:

A piece I wrote about this was published in last month’s edition of “Pilot” magazine. From April 6 the Coventry hangar is to be available to visit at weekends only. Following its Winter break, the Newquay site will reopen as normal and be accessible daily from that date too.
