It appears the company that operate Coventry Airport are in trouble with the Inland Revenue and face a winding-up order. I hope this won’t affect the MAM.

I hope something can be done.
What is the source of your info please?

It wont affect the MAM directly as the site is on city council land outside (but adjoining) the airport boundary with it’s own access from the public highway.
There was originally the ‘benefit’ of being adjacent to the airport with visitors being able to view modern aircraft and about six exhibits didn’t arrive by road (ie they came in via the airport).
As the years have passed more and more buildings have been erected on the airport near to the museum leaving only a smallish gap to view the runway.
I’m hoping this isn’t the proverbial ‘last nail’ for Coventry Airport 😮

No it will not affect the Museum as that is sited on council land outside the boundary of the airport itself.
That said having a live airfield next door is a distinct bonus as it adds to the whole experience, it would be a huge dissappointment if flying was to stop here 🙁
