Well, it’s all over the web, Lex Cralley won his battle with the Navy yesterday by way of an act of Congress and he gets to KEEP his F3A Corsair and can actually begin rebuilding it with plans towards keeping it and possibly flying it someday….he plans on taking it to Oshkosh this summer so anyone who is travelling there can see it….
Congrats LEX!!

I would think that if it is restored, the only thing reminding us that it was Brewster built is it’s designation and serialnumber. Or Mr Cralley is a stickler for accuracy but then again it would not be wise to fly it without a very good life insurance.

Unless you were Finnish, would you want to fly anything out of the Brewster works? :diablo:
I guess a 60-years later rebuild will sort all the woes but do I recall rightly reading that Brewster build quality was so lousy that they were actually investigated on suspicion of employing enemy agents?
And isn’t there a Bermuda somewhere out there?
Enough questions….
