Hi sorry if posted A plane has crashed at Headcorn Aerodrome http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/6440199.stm The aircraft looked like the Black Beaver they have in during the winter for the Parachute Club. Hope all will be ok:(

MA, AAIB reports are published on http://www.aaib.gov.uk, click Publications then Bulletins. Hope they can get to the bottom of the performance issue. 🙁

Correct, you have to be patient and wait (typically) 4-6 months for the AAIB report. That’s true for most air accidents in the UK.

Yes, was using the short runway. My son was on the scene as a Kent Firefighter. Not nice. I hope this discussion thread does not turn into idle speculation as to the cause ( which I believe may already be established anyhow). I don’t imagine the red tops will need any assistance in that area.

I been to Headcorn loads off times but I cant see how it ended up there next to the Classic Jets.Unless the Small runway was in use:confused:
