My niece is just about to start a degree in aerospace engineering and would like to work in crash investigation if possible. Can anybody suggest a way forward for her on this after her degree as one of the things she will need is a PPL and that is yet more money.
Grateful for any advice or suggestions

Universities and i think the government etc – unfortunatley it will take both time and money! both at the same time (trust me on that!been and still there!)

MSE – Thanks for the info. The one hurdle we come up against all the time is money – whether its the degree or the PPL. Do you mean that Universities in the US run the courses or are they government run? The reason I ask is becuase she would like to work in the US eventually. She has written to Cranfield for details of their courses.

she should do my degree; Emergency and Disaster Management or International, Engineering and Disaster Management.
There are air accident course you can go on here and in the US and i think a PPL is required
