Crash on 30.11.1941 by Kiel
At 9.30 p.m. crashed a british bomber (Halifax? Withley? )on a field in Klein Königsförde (10 km west of Kiel).
The following crewmembers are killed:
Sgt. ANDERSON, C.T.R. (Pilot) Pers.Nr.1006358, 19 Jears, Royal Air Force
Sgt .GROOM, John Alfred, Pers.Nr.964955, 21 Jears, Royal Air Force
Sqdn. Ldr. WALKER, James, Godfrey, Pers.Nr.73012, 31 Jears, Royal Air Force
Sgt. TAYLER, Philip Anthony, Pers.Nr.995861, Royal Air Force
Need more informations about the other crewmember and the aircraft.

up to now, I have only two parts found.Unfortunately, the grass is to high to can go and find more. this was zwo parts of aluminium and in a bad condition…
maybe i can find in spring next jear more. I can posting here my research data about the statement of the old people from crashplace in the next time…

Whitley V Z6800 DY-? from 102 Sqdn on op to Hamburg. Hit by flack and crashed near Kiel (according to W R Chorley Bomber Command Losses 1941). As above, only one survivor, Sgt Williams.
My grandfather flew as 2nd Pilot on Z6800 on 31.8.41 op to Essen, Sgt Groom was also onboard on this op.

The aircraft was a Whitley V Z6800 of 102 Sqn . The only survivor was Sgt J Williamson
