Crash Relic ID

Good afternoon all. I wonder if anyone can help ID the crash relic part I have attached photos of. It’s of an alloy construction, pivoting in two planes and had what appears to be a battery cell compartment. I can see no obvious markings and have no provenance to work with. The alloy construction gives it an aircraft feel, though it is quite heavily made. Any ideas would be much appreciated! Many thanks, Tim
