At this moment there is a photoalbum for sale at ebay, one of the photos of this album is from a fairey battle. Anyone who know more of this aircraft? I am particular interested to know if it was in the Netherlands.

Battle PH-F of 12Sqn. Raid on the Masstricht Bridges. Aircraft crashed while pulling out of a dive when engine cut. One of the crew was Sgt BT Carey the father of a fellow air cadet of 460Sqn Dunstable. He spent the rest of the war as a POW.

If you blow the picture up, the serial looks like P233? to be, so probably P2332

The only candidate I can see for this is P2332 of 12 Squadron, PH-F. According to Air Britain Serials this was “Damaged attacking bridges near Maastricht and crashed, Vroenhoven, 12 May 1940.”
