Today, the 91st airbase Zagreb held an open day.
The weather was nice for flying, but my not-so-good digital camera isn’t good enough for flying shots, here are only some static display shots.
Almost the entire CroAF was present, and the small and non-advertised nature of the event meant that some rules were not strigently adhered to – the Mig-21 and PC-9 flying demos were (in part) over the crowd.
Also shown were a Mi-8 almost at the end of the 600h check and an completely unbuttoned Mig-21 Bis in for the 100h check.
Antonov An-32B – CroAF has two on strenght, recently overhauled.

Pilatus PC-9M – about 20 on strenght

Mig-21 UM Checker

Mi-8

Mig-21 Bis Hulk – This is an non-overhauled example, obviously used for training ground crews. At the open day, it was used for a firefighting demonstration.

The flightline (Almost the entire jet CroAf component is present!)

And finally, still in use!

There’s a bunch more, and I’ll lighten them and resize at a later date.
Cheers!
