I am a bit of a MIG 21 aficionado. I read in AFM that the Croat AF is having it’s Fishbeds overhauled by Odesaviaremservis in the Ukraine and is buying five new/old ones (ex Yemeni?). Is this just a major refurb or is it the full HMS/laser-designator/glass cockpit upgrade that Odesaviaremservis offers? Paying 10.5 million euros seems a bit low, even for a full refurb of seven Fishbeds never mind the purchase of 5 more aircraft even if the MIG 21 is an old timer.
