Crosswinds at NEMA, 28/02/07

hey everybodies!

myself and Adam popped down to the local today after seeing blue skies and a blue ryanair 738 (C&W) doing what we thought was circuits.

alas, we didnt see the cable and wireless aircraft but still got some good shots in of the other traffic. it was pretty windy, so managed to catch aircraft on finals battling the wind.

the ground was pretty soggy, so had sponges instead of shoes for the rest of the day, but was otherwise good. also took a trip to the aviation hobby shop at the airport and picked up two beautiful aircraft models which are now sitting pride of place on my desk. 😀

Its good quality wood, sourced from the finest, sustainable forests!!

That’s good then! When that one finally rots, give Canadian Rock Maple a go… The neck of my G&L bass is made from it. Lovely stuff! 😀

They’re different AND one’s wooden? Now that’s unfortunate!

I use the 18-180mm. 🙂 I am looking forward to the 5th March – Oly are releasing new bodies and I would guess some new lenses to go with them.:) Will be interesting to see what Oly will be offering.

thanks guys!

Yupyup! The teaser on their website is doing some stirring, the bodies look a lot like the e-400 too!
