Anyone fancy a go at this? There’s a very outside chance you might be awarded the ‘tender’ and get (up to) £150.

I thought Croydon airfield already had a memorial ?

Agree with Andy. A Hurricane would be far more appropriate for Croydon. Besides, stick a Hurricane memorial up, and most people would still see a Spitfire anyway.
£0 to a £150? Now that’s what I call a budget! I’ll get my crayons out and get cracking!

“‘Urrican? Wos one of them then?”
There is actually a four blade prop on the side of the church next to Roundshaw’s Phoenix Centre. It’s been trimmed to look like a cross and is ex-Viscount I reckon.

Will pay a price in the range of £0-£150…

I’ve got an unfinished 1/48 clip together Mk1 somewhere – perhaps I should finish and spray it, then submit it as an entry…
Having submitted a number of bids through Due North over the years I seem to remember that service providers have to register with all sorts of detail, such as H&S certification, modern slavery policies, etc… I wonder if an individual would be required to do the same. Why the hell they can’t just advertise a competition for the local population via the Sutton and Croydon press…
