Crystal Palace Aircraft display.

I am trying to find out what aeroplanes where on display at the end of the First World War at the Crystal Palace.

So far I have found.

Avro 504K ? F—
Bristol F2B Fighter. E2581 now at IWM Lambeth .
RE8 . F3356, also now at IWM Lambeth.
Norman Thompson N.T 2B H2269
Fokker DVII

I think there where more German aircraft.
Any help please.
Thanks
Dave

Next to the wheels and flowers is what might be a signal lamp on a tripod (opens up another line of questioning as to why it’s there, of course…) Hidden behind the nearer wheel might be a battery pack.
I’m guessing, because I don’t know the equipment in question, but perhaps the wheels were necessary to move the batteries, and were then ‘tidied’ into the flower display so they didn’t get lost. OK, so you wouldn’t do it like that today, but the rims do seem to be tied to the railings.

What is it that one sees in the bottom left hand corner of that photograph? It looks like wheels and an axle attached to a floral display!

Sure this was covered sometime last year in Aeroplane Monthly. I will check my back issues.

An interesting subject, amazes me how any of these survived almost 100 years! Of course prior to this enemy aircraft were exhibited at the Islington Agricultural Hall. These were the benefit for the military and industry but were open to the public in 1919. Crystal Palace opened in 1920 and exhibited a few of the Islington aircraft. I know of NT.2B, Friedrichshaven GIII (dismantled), Roland DVII, Junkers J1 wreck,Fokker DVII,Parnell Panther,Sopwith Salamander, Plus the surviving IWM Be2c, Sopwith Camel;Bristol Fighter, Short 184 and RE8, plus Hendons Sopwith Triplane.
