CSA – new routes

CSA – Czech Airlines will add Cork, Edinburgh, and Tallinn to its route network effective 30 March 2003.

The airline will also reactivate flights to Newark from 16 June 2003.

A total of 4 aircraft will be added to the fleet including:

1 x Airbus A310 (May 2003)

2 x Boeing 737-500 (April 2003 & May 2003)

1 x Boeing 737-400 (March 2003)

CSA will eventually operate a total of 35 aircraft that includes Airbus, Boeing, and ATR aircraft.

This is excellent news. I think growth is very wise for CSA because Prague is definitely a very popular short break city, therefore connecting to new airports like Cork and Edinburgh should create quite a lucrative market for the airline. Also it is good to see Cork getting a new European operator ensuring future prosperity and growth in the region.
