68 dead in Cuba. Four remarks.
O dead on an A380 two pages of coments.
A sad coment on this forum.
My thought go out to the familes who’s loved ones will not be coming home.Rgds Cking
Ditto sympathies for the families involved but this is an accident in a third world country. Like accidents in Africa, China and to a certain extent Russia, it will receive correspondingly less coverage because it is not European or American. The A.380 is 100% European, the first serious in-flight occurrence for the type and the potential for a disaster does not bear thinking about.

‘Black box’ recorders recovered in Cuban air crash
HAVANA — Searchers on Friday recovered the “black box” voice and data recorders of a Cuban airliner that crashed in central Cuba, killing all 68 people aboard, officials said.
“The black box and the voice recorder of the crashed plane … were found, so the investigation that is underway will have the basic elements to work with,” Rolando Diaz, a prosecutor told local media.
The Aerocaribbean airliner crashed Thursday on a domestic flight from Santiago to Havana after the pilot reported an emergency.
