I’m just going to add some of my images from what was a fantastic show.
Such a shame about the Seafury incident at the end of the day. But the main thing
[/url]

Went with some really low shutter speed on couple of the departures to get some prop blur. Think I did ok?!

Highlights had to be the 3 SHARS Taxiing down the runway together. A site that can be repeated no where else in the world! ! The mid air flight. And of course the Vulcan.
Thanks again for looking. I got couple more to edit. And I’ll add more up later.

Nice set of photos which recalled fond memories of being an FAA brat in the 60’s and the air days at Culdrose then…watching Simon’s Sircus Vixens, the mandatory dropping of the “badly parked car” from a chopper, my first ever Spitfire which flew in, in the hands of Jeffrey Quill, taxying across the airfield in the back of 831 Sqn’s Avenger, the resident Brigands, Sea Balliols, and my first ever flight..in a Miles Messenger. Oh, and the V tailed Supermarine 508 used by the School of Aircraft Handling on their dummy flight deck in the corner of the airfield by the Captain’s house, which ended up at Predannack, used for fire training I believe. Happy days…

Some more 😉

Then on to Departures day, but with the unfortunate emergency with the Seafury, the main runway was part closed leaving only 4000ft avaliable. So most of the departures went of on the cross runway. Meaning no photos 🙁
But the polish Mig was having non of it.. and decided he was going for it. Take of run for a fully fueled Mig 29 is 1385 ish ft. So he didn’t have much room for error!
What with rain and low cloud, and the fact he Was half way down the runway and that these were taken from the bog roof!! There not the best.So there only for the record!
Looks like everyone gathered with the guys at the crash site (poor old Seafury :'( ) for a better look.

Guess I should have been at the other end to catch him lifting of.. 🙄
Look forward to next year. When the polish said they would love to come back 😉
And once again.. thanks for looking 😉
