Current American Cluster Bombs

Anyone got a comprehensive list of current American-made cluster bombs that are in service (those in U.S. service as well as around the world if possible).

My knowledge on them is rather limited.

I know of the Mk-20 Rockeye, primarily used by the Navy (although not sure if they still use it).

I also know of the CBU-87, CBU-89 Gator, and CBU-97 SFW. Not sure who uses which of those weapons.

Then there is like the CBU-59?

And of course the WCMD which I believe is CBU-103/104/105, but I’m not sure if those are simply kits on other bomb types or if they are all-new weapons.

Any help?

From what I can tell the U.S. still uses the CBU-87/89/97, and of course their WCMD counterparts as well as possibly the CBU-52/58/59 series.

I guess it’s hard to find out because there are so many types. What’s harder is to figure out how many can be carried. Weights on cluster bombs seem to vary so much.

The Mk-80 series bombs is much easier to deal with….lol.

I have a List of CBUs, but the list doesn’t say which ones are still in use. Sorry.

AFAIK, Rockeye is still in use, but possibly only in the newer CBU-99 and -100 variants.

And of course the WCMD which I believe is CBU-103/104/105, but I’m not sure if those are simply kits on other bomb types or if they are all-new weapons.

The CBU-103/104/105 are the same as CBU-87/89/97, except for the addition of the WCMD tail kit.
