Curtiss ox8

I have just found an ox8 engine stripped down and x-rayed / crack tested and a fair few new spares and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of value please as I am not sure what to pay for it!!

If you still need a value, being an American engine you might ask on WIX.
Also, there is a shop in California that specializes in WWI-era powerplants, Antique Aero in Paso Robles…They recently assembled and overhauled a Le Rhone for a friend’s Pup.

I agree with the above post.
Proceed with caution. I know of several instances of engines being shown (with photos) monies paid and then no further.
If you have any doubts ask to go and actually touch it.

Be careful, a few years back there was an internet scam involving a vintage Curtiss engine, stripped, inspected, with some spares etc.

Depends on what you intend to put it in!
