Say what you want, but thank God Kermit Weeks is around to not only save these old birds, but to restore and fly them too. Love it.

It’s nice to see it in the air, but to be fair, it was saved by a lady called Debbie Boostrom in Texas (who brought it back from Bolivia and financed the restoration) and was then operated by the late Don Carter in Sonoma, California for over a decade. When Kermit bouight it it was fully retored and airworthy and just required an annual.
