A friend of mine is looking for a cutaway of the Defiant.
Has anybody ever see one, and if so can they identify the artist and source?

That’s the (copyright) Pat Mcaffrey drawing I mentioned in post 2, part of the MAP Plans set.
AFAIK, it’s the most accurate, modern cutaway. W.W.II ones are mostly very inaccurate.

There’s a relatively recent cutaway in the Defiant article(s) in Air International Magazine – July & August 1991 (from memory, will check and confirm later).

There’s a few awful ones for comics and wartime, and an accurate Pat MCaffrey one from the MAP Plans source. May be others I’m not remembering. PM me for more.
