Cloud 9………there were 2 Sun Air Scandinavia Do328s in for the same big fight.They’re a BA franchise………….weekday visitors to MAN.

Thanks Snogger @ eggd……….there is a balcony at CWL at the aero club opposite the terminal so views are good with sun behind u but the traffic is **** unless you know stuff’s coming in for an event at the milennium stadium or CIA……..all KLM BMI Baby and Thomsonfly…………..4 scheduled arrivals yesterday up to 14.00!!!

Many thanks for welcoming response……………….when you talk about venturing to Bristol,I only live in Clevedon……………my profile since corrected.
The DC8 arr 06.35 from Basra!I suspect a Lyneham fog div as have since heard BHX got an Omni Air DC10 from BZZ.
The Air Greenland and ATR/Do328/Saab 340s all came in for the big boxing match held in the early hours uf Sunday

Air Greenland at CWL on a charter for the Calzaghe boxing match in Cardiff. Sterling A/S 737-700 also in during the night and numerous smaller jets.
DC8 diversion from LYE due fog. Came from Bazra.
Also today numerous diversions from other stations due fog (1xBaby 733, 1xKLM 733 from BHX. 2x TOM 733 from BOH and an RAF hercules still at CWL, also diverted from LYE.

Welcome to the forum good to see another West Country contributor. Wonderful catch with the Air Greenland 757 and DC8, any idea what they were doing at Cardiff? If you are ever venturing up to Bristol, there are a few contributors on this forum maybe we can meet up?
