My massive fleet of media sources have furnished me with the following ASTONISHING information:
The Republic of Cyprus has purchased 12 Mi-35E Hind attack helicopters from Rosstervol along with 24 options for more helicopters. The move is well timed to counter the turkish purchase of 145 AH-1Z King Cobra attack helicopters. This is further supported by the Cypriot purchase of 40 additional Mistral MANPADS.
I have also heard some information about Mil Mi-17 Hips, though this information I cannot confirm.
I can also report that Cyprus has conformed (YES CONFIRMED) the purchas eof a single Mi-26Z Halo super-heavy transport helicopter for fire-fighting and significant troop transport.
