Those camo schemes look amazing!
Even I lost my old account, which I had for over 10 years. This move over to the new forum has been a disaster. It has pretty much killed off the Military forum. I keep posting to keep the interest going, but if it doesn’t pick up then even I’ll stop.

I can see all of them. What is wrong with this forum, after design change I cannot sign in with my original and 13 years old profile and absolutely no answer from admins, now pictures are not visible? Damn

Officials of CzAF have annouced that purchasing of 8+4 H1 is only first phase of chopper fleet modernisation. Czech Army will buy more H-1 helicopters later. In December Ministry of Defence signed contract for new two C-295W and will buy one Bombardier Global 5000 in 2020. It means the end of two Jak-40 and one Challanger service in Czech Air Force livery.

Thanks for the info.
Just came across this official source, which confirms the 12 H-1 will replace the Mi-24/35.
(well I read the google translation… 😉 )

Obviously fake.
8 Hueys + 4 Cobras is an awfully low number. Any chance of further orders?
There’s 17 Hinds alone currently, right?
Or are the H-1s to replace the Hind fleet only? Hip stays? What about the W-3?
the picture is official picture of Bell for Bell´s marketing activities in the Czech Republic

CzAF has 12 Mi-35 in service and 5 are stored, H1 8+4 is replacement for Hind fleet only, Mi-171ShM stays in service at least untill 2030 for sure, 7 (with rear ramp) are highly modernised and digitalised thanx to US goverment support and got new weapons, next 8 (with rear door) will be modernized during next years. W-3A stays in service at least until 2025-2027, all 10 Sokols underwent general overhaul during last three years and now they get new digital maps system and EVS system. They are 5 Mi-17 and 3 Mi-8 in service as well and 4 Enstrom 480B-G are in service with Flight Training Centre

What movie would it be… TigerHind Vs Predator?

You are right, since registration of CASA C-295M 0452 in 2009 the system is different. Now the numbers of military planes are determined by the order number in the Czech Military Aircraft Register.
