D-Day Pilot Rik Dupre (2004 thread emerges again)

It’s with sadness that I inform you of the death this morning, 5th June 2004, of one of 609 (West Riding) Squadrons D-Day Typhoon pilots, Rik Dupre from Mauritius.

A wonderful and amusing gentleman, it was a pleasure to have made your acquaintance Rik. Sleep well.

Rik, seen at Flying Legends last year.

Rik taught me to sail in his Albacore in Kyrenia as a kid back in about 1967. I have been trying to track down his wife, Pat and Serena ( my god daughter ) and Dean for the past decade unsuccessfully. If anyone who reads this can help me in this regard, I would be very grateful.
