Maxi Gainza brought his Yak 3 from Germany for a couple of days last week to North Weald to sort out his DA. Very nimble aircraft indeed with phenomal take-off performance, Some pics from Friday and Saturday, when it went back home…

I spoke to Maxi about whether it will be around at all over the summer. He said not, but maybe back for a short visit in the Autumn.

It did have a ‘bird strike’ with a Falcon in Paris.
