D.K.Brown biography of William Froude

For those interested, David K. Brown has published a biography of the great William Froude, one of the greatest naval architects ever, called “The Way of the Ship in the midst of the Sea:the life and work of William Froude”. For anybody interested in naval architecture or the poineering days of ship design when it went from being an art to a science this could be a superb book. I haven’t got it yet, but given the quality of Browns other books it should be a reliable buy, I hope so anyway.
