DACT Training

Not sure if posting about stuff in other magazines is allowed, but here it goes anyway….

If the recent issue of Combat Aircraft there was an article about Luftwaffe Phantoms, and it talks about the training that Phantom crews go through, which includes DACT sorties against F-15’s, F-16’s, and I think F/A-18’s.

I was wondering if there are any recent reports of how the Phantoms have done in the past few years against these newer much more agile jets?

What is stressed as the proper tactics in the Phantom against these newer fighters?

Seahawk, you have any information on it?

NOTE: The last TWO issues of Combat Aircraft has featured good articles on the Phantom, while AFM hasn’t had an F-4 article in years. Why does AFM never do any articles about the F-4? The thing is old, but it’s still in pretty widespread use……..Greece, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, etc.

What’s the deal?
