Did anyone else out there save the coupons and send off for their free flights from the Daily Mail? I got mine today, and it was for a flight with BMI to a European destination. It would have been nice to have got a free ticket to Hong Kong or Sydney, but somehow I thought that it was unlikely – I wonder how many they gave away to those destinations?
My trip is free, except that I have to pay the taxes. I can also take family/friends at the “reduced rate” of GBP70, plus taxes.
As our (self and wife) preferred destination is Amsterdam, I looked at the BMI website to see how much the “reduced rate” for my wife would save me if we travelled midweek. The fare (internet booking) was GBP12.50 each way, plus taxes, so that “reduced rate” of GBP70 rather points to the plan behind the give away.
Oh well, guess it sold a few more papers.

RE: Daily Mail Free Flights
I see that the Mirror and the Sun newspapers were both offering flights to various European destinations, in this weekends editions.
The Mirror were offering 2 free flights with BMi and the Sun were offering 4 free flights with BA.
