Shame it was destroyed in a raid as this aircraft seemed popular to fly by the german pilots.
Has it ever been tried again?
Seems many Spitfires made it into german hands and flown for testing propoganda filming anyone got any good links to these please?

There is a whole section on captured aircraft and a few threads on spitfires in the RAF section.
almost every aircraft type captured by german and italy is covered, there is even a small thread on the whirlwind.:)
