Excellent shots. How close to the power lines was he in picture No 5? That looks like a near “gotcha” even allowing for the foreshortening effect of the lens.

There was no problem the power lines were on top of the opposite hill. They were a very long way off and didn’t pose any danger to the Dak at all. Cheers for the nice remark 🙂

Thank you very much 🙂 It certainly was a rather nice sight, probably the most interesting one I’ll see all year, certainly a highlight of it so far. 😀

Glad you liked them guys 🙂 The Dak did look model perfect indeed. Being in that position and seeing it that low was brilliant 😀

No, I’m kidding…they’re great photos, I wish I could get a chance to photograph WWII planes displaying over the countryside like that here in the states…

The comments about the models/fishing string were what we call ‘a joke’…damn my American sense of humor, which once again failed to translate…

i dont think it is fake… anyone else?

I’m looking for fishing line that’s holding the model up…anyone can pose their models that way over a scenic backdrop if they can hide the fishing string…

Whycome so many American manufactured planes look great in British paint/markings?

M

Are you for real….? 😮
