I seen one of those at BRS about a year or 2 ago when it was doing those pleasure flights :confused: Think it was a DC-3!
Didn’t get to go on her myself but i did see her take-off! 😀

I`m not sure what is going on with the Dakotas. It looks like Air Atlantique are putting them back to work. There was another of their Daks at Waddington. I thought all operations went over to Atlantic ?
The Islanders are watching you du du, du du. I have seen them in and out of Leeds Bradford aswell.

Thanks Ben, I was told that it is here to practise oil dispersant delivery over the coast (water only) for the trials, you possibly have noted it is still equiped with an air driven pump ?? below the fuselage and small booms each side of the rear, below the roundel.
Yes thats an Islander about to sneak out, it is one of several recently popping in for fuel and out again very quickly, both RAF and Army islanders ????? managed to get a snap ?? …. Keith.
