Hi,
Just got news from Villavicencio COL, that C-47 HK-4700 ‘Fifi Kate’ returned at her homebase yesterday, i.e. ON the date of the 75th Anniversary of the first flight of the DC-3. Former N47FK was heavily damaged in a landing incident a few weeks ago. She flew back to Villavicencio for further restoration!

Braking problems after landing, at the end of the RW the plane ran into a ditch.

Thanks for the update i was on “Fifi Kates” crew for 3yrs from 1999 when she was in the uk do you have any detail on the landing incident? Regards
