Dakota MkIV KN333

I am considering buying the original USAAF aircraft maintenance manual from this aircraft, inside there is ref to 216 sqdn on one of the pages.
Can anybody help with any information/photographs of this aircraft?

All I have is cn 15895/32643. Originally USAAF 44-76311. With the Mediterranean Allied Air Force 1945-48. Last owner/operator shown as Foreign Liquidation Commission. WFU 14/01/1948.
