Dakota over Fife

BBMF Dak arrived at Leuchars around 1245 this afternoon. Did a lovely flypast before landing. Spitfire and Hurricane arrived 15 mins later.

Hi, Fluffy’s missus here, was probably BBMF Dak, and Fluffy was in there, most prob listening to MP3 player and nodding off! Arrived safely, and Fluffy safely ensconsed in hotel at ST. Andrews with lovely view of golf course but complaining about high price of food!!

There was a Hurricane and a Spitfire flew over East Fortune then up and down the coast at North Berwick this afternoon also. Didnt see a Dak

Don’t know but it was a dark colour, possibly green. Its heading was taking it away from Leuchars though.

Was it the BBMF one? It is due to Display at RAF Leuchars today. I saw it this morning over York at about 11am heading North.
