Daks Around the World

Was at work tonight and we were at Duke Field (on the Eglin AFB range) working with some Security Forces folks, and the Turbo Dak (i.e. BT-67 or C-47TP or whatever you wanna call it) was doing approaches and landings and take-offs and stuff and I was watching him with my NVG’s (we were working at night obviously) and man that plane has such a gentle landing….

Anyway I was talking with some guys I work with and there was mention of Colombias fleet of upgraded C-47TP’s which are fitted as gunships and called AC-47T’s I believe. I knew about them, and I got to trying to find pictures of them, but very few seem to be available.

Anyone know a good place to look? I’m also curious about the weapons fit. I understand it to be .50 cal. guns, but more concrete information seems to be hard to come by.
