Dam Busters Height Keeping Trick invented in 1930!

Folks,

I hate it when one of my cherished beliefs die. But it seems that one has. To wit, I have read countless articles about how that special RAF unit came up with the idea to keep their Lancaster bombers at the correct altitude during the run on the dams in Germany. Seems that trick was invented back in 1930

Before you know it someone is going to tell me my wife married me for my good looks instead of my money.
