As already mentioned on Damien’s thread, it was wet! Having said that, a big well done to all concerned for putting on a decent show regardless.

Lovely. What is it about de Havilland products that makes them look good regardless of what angle their seen from or what colour scheme they’re in? That’s not a criticism of the other shots by the way.

Again, great photos considering the poor weather.

Great pictures. Nice and sharp and some good editing. The best collection of Duxford autumn show pics I have seen in any forum.
The T28 with the propwash and spray under the wheel is particularly nice.
Well done.

Nice pictures considering the conditions. Hats off to the pilots and ground crews for a super show.

Cracking pictures, unfortunatly I’ll have to say having the more modern aircraft amongst them does spoil it for me.
You can’t beat a bit of history! :p

Great pictures under the circumstances. It looks like the weather improves everytime MH434 shows up.

I rather meant the point where the cartridge to start the engine is fired and a large puff of smoke explodes out of the Seahawk 🙂
Yeah I know, I didn’t get any of that 🙁

I managed to get a few rather “okayish” photos of the Seahawk when it was taxying down the flightline

Absolutely right Moggy.
If anyone wants an idea what it was like for a Spitfire pilot in Malta, warts and all, read ‘One Man’s Window’ by Denis Barnham.

Thanks for the tip, Kev. It arrived in the post today (thanks, Amazon!) 😉

Did anyone get pics of the Seahawk startup?
I managed to get a few rather “okayish” photos of the Seahawk when it was taxying down the flightline in preperation for it’s return to Yeovilton on Sunday due to the evil weather. I was planning to attend Saturday’s Air show because I had heard that the weather was gonna be better on Sunday, however that turned out not to be the case 😡
Anyway, I’m new here so I’m gonna have a good look around 😉

we were just getting around to wondering why the Shuttleworth Spit was facing away from us, in contrast to the others, we soon found out that you got the full fire breathing Spitfire effect!
Or maybe they just wanted to avoid taxiing on the concrete
