There’s nothing stopping anyone taking a camera up into the Peaks.. its not like the wrecks are guarded. I know a couple of people that have wild camped up at the trig point near the B29. They only took pictures though, and were respectful of the wrecks remains.

I am a fan of Horror, Sci-Fi Films, but this is just WRONG, if they have used a genuine crash site where lives were lost?…. utter disrespect. Surely a mock crash could have been made up? How did they get permission?

Re post 4… not a bit, but a complete dishonour, wonder if the families were consulted?? it also looks very low buget, not an once of research, I am sure we won’t be seeing this one at the cinema anytime soon. Dark Peak looks set to be the naffiest horror film yet filmed! The fact these men died the way they did is bad enough, but to have some idiot suggest the pilot is “evil” is a complete dishonour to the pilot who may have his name changed but you don’t have to be a genious to work out what the real name I am surprised it got a licence.

A bit of dishonour to the men that perished in that crash, all for the sake of a cheap thrill horror film.

This has been coming for a while. Lets hope it doesn’t lead to more pillaging of what’s left of the B-29 on Higher Shelf Stones, its already been starting to come apart and wander down the hill in ever bigger chunks in the last few years.
